As the year picks up its pace, we stop to reflect on the first two Basic Sozo Training sessions that we hosted so far this year.
Hosted by the warm community of Walmer Methodist Church, Deon and Carina spoke to around 60 eager attendees during the two-day conference. They also lead a special time of intercession and prayer for the city of Port Elizabeth on Saturday morning.
"PE became known for its satanic activity in the 90's, and sadly it hasn't stopped. There has been a huge increase in the occult in the PE area, especially among the youth who are disappointed with Christianity and easily link to the occult through trance parties. Before we arrived at the conference, we felt strongly that God said we should shift the atmosphere in PE. And so, we lead a powerful time of prayer and repentance during the conference and with the support of the PE Sozo and intercession. We are certain that something significant and eternal happened in the heavenly realms and we are grateful and expectant for future breakthrough", shares Carina.

NewGen Church, Somerset West generously hosted the second training of the year. Carina and Western Cape Sub-facilitator, Jonanda Burger lead the time and was delighted to have a full-house at 100 attendees.
"We are always encouraged by the overwhelming interest in Sozo in the Cape area and have seen many new church leaders embrace Sozo as a valuable tool to assist in bringing their community members to wholeness and healing. We left the conference encouraged and grateful for what God is doing in and through Sozo in the Western Cape", says Carina.
